Kristin Klas focused her M.Ed. in Adult Education at the University of Minnesota on adult ELLs with limited or interrupted formal education. She has almost 7 years of experience teaching English, three specifically with Low Educated Second Language and Literacy Acquisition learners. Kristin believes numeracy is an essential life skill that builds critical thinking skills as well as helping students in their daily lives.
Kristin Perry has been teaching Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) since 2007. She is certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) through Hamline University and in Orton-Gillingham (OG) from The Reading Center/Dyslexia Institute of Minnesota. In addition to teaching, she has presented at MinneTESOL, Summer Institute, Adult ESL Institute, and the LESLLA symposium.
